But seriously--I hate doctors, but this sounds like something you should be seen for. I gather you don't have insurance, but perhaps you could go to the ER and see if the social workers can help you get some help with payment. When I took my daughter to the ER without insurance, they were VERY helpful.

Some drug stores have clinics that are very cheap. See if you have one near you. Just because you had a bad doctor who sent you home before does not mean all doctors are like that. And since they are associated with the drug store, they have to be nice.
